SEPTEMBER TECHNICAL UPDATE

On September 20, 2025, our technical team completed the foam scale model and started layup on the other side of cardboard.

The team first cut the slices using the front profiles of each 2" section. We then sanded down the rounded edges with 80 and 120 grit sandpaper. After, we taped them together to form the blocky shape of the car. Then we taped the sides profiles onto the right side of the car and sanded down the side profile. Finally, we finished up by using our CAD model for reference as we spent more time sanding in the curvature of the model.
