ABOUT US

Racer X² is an all-female team consisting of nine passionate high-schoolers and mentors who are dedicated to making our project come to life. Based in Temple City, California, we are a proudly Asian-founded team that values R.A.C.E.R.:  representation, ambition, community, empowerment, and revolution. With this project, Racer X² hopes to challenge the stereotypes of what a solar car/team may look like. We strive to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the competition each year. Beyond building our car, we are committed to providing meaningful experiences for our high school students by offering opportunities for them to apply their skills on a real-world project.
