October Technical Update

On October 9, 2025, our technical team completed the layup on the foam scale model. Next up: printing paper slices of the full-size car and building its wooden platform.

We cut the carbon fiber and peel ply to size and planned the order for placing the carbon. Then we applied resin to the mold and laid the carbon on in sections, which kept the layup organized and smooth. After working our way around the mold, we added a second layer the same way, with resin between every layer. Finally, we put peel ply over the second layer to absorb excess resin and removed it once the layup was dry.
